Our solar LED Paver style lights come preinstalled in stainless steel protective cases, sealed in place with a silica compound. In addition to adding to the overall strength of these solar Paver lights these protective cases insure that the light fixture itself will not be subjected to the corrosive properties often found in concrete and the silica sealant helps to protect the lights from moisture penetration. If the solar Paver style light is not being installed in concrete the metal protective cover still adds a large measure of integrity to the light's structure.

We Use Ultra-Capacitors Or LiFePo4 (Lithium Ion) Batteries In Our Solar LED Paver Lights
Unlike the rechargeable batteries commonly found in consumer grade solar lighting sold at the Big Box stores, Solar Lighting Inc. uses ultra-capacitors or Lithium Ion batteries as the energy storage devise in their Solar LED Paver and Accent lighting. Ultra-capacitors never need replacing and function without any degradation in performance from -40°F to +140°F (-40°C to +60°C). Lithium Ion batteries function at temperatures of -22°F to +158°F (-30°C to +70°C) making our Solar LED Paver and Accent lights ideal for installation in cold winter climates. Since our Solar LED Paver and Accent lights do not require battery replacement every 2 - 3 years they are the only true maintenance free option for installation in the ground.
Our Solar Paver Lights Are Safe To Drive Over With A Passenger Vehicle
Solar Lighting's Solar Paver lights have very high compression strengths (SL9 compression strength is 23,000 kgf or 225,552 N), meaning that they are engineered to withstand repeated heavy vehicular traffic.
